The sun is the most efficient,
affordable, and readily available energy source known to man.
With a solar powered fountain, the sun
does all the work.
So let the sun do what it does,
naturally.
A solar water fountain is an easy and
inexpensive way to power your outdoor lifestyle.
And if climate change and
fossil fuel consumption concern you, then solar is definitely
the
way to go.
If
we divided solar water fountains into 2 basic groups, we
could say that the first has its solar cells built right into the
fountain.
Let's call this the
"No-Installation, Instant Gratification
" group.
I like it already! Fill 'er
up, let 'er charge, and...let's enjoy!
These fountains aren't designed with cells that
hold a charge.
So they only
collect and convert the sun's energy into electricity that the pump
uses immediately.
For the
water to flow, the sun must literally be shining on the fountain. At
night or when clouds cover the sun, the water stops.
Once it clears or day
returns, the fountain automatically flows again.
No-Installation, Instant
Gratification fountains are fabulous anywhere they'll be exposed to
direct sunlight -- like your sunroom, on your patio, or out on the
deck.
Or use them to gussie up a
sunny balcony or back porch.
Want to decorate a shady
spot in your yard? No problem.
Just choose a solar
fountain from what I like to call the Total
Freedom group.
These little wonders have
solar cells that are separate from the fountain, so you can put them
almost anywhere.
Some even have cells that
can be put as far as 60' away. And mounting the cells is really
easy.
So do it. Put your Total
Freedom fountain anywhere you want -- sun or shade -- and put the
cells in the sun. Imagine what you will do with all that space to
work with.

Always Flowing Solar
Powered Fountains
To keep your fountain
flowing continuously on cloudy days and at night, you
need a solar fountain pump with a battery backup.
When it's sunny outside, the sun powers
your fountain and charges the battery.
And like magic, when it's not
sunny, the fountain uses the energy stored in the
battery.
Water Fountains - Seasonal
Considerations
Both solar and electrical warer fountains
pumps can be damaged if left running in below freezing
temperatures.
If you live in an area with harsh
winters, just disconnect and store the pump before winter
sets in.
If you
live where the temps are milder, your solar
garden fountain can run all year long.
