Looking for any 'ol gazebo for sale?
Or are you looking for a cheap gazebo? Did I say
cheap?
Excusez-moi!
Let me
re-phrase.
What I
mean is you are looking for a gazebo that's practical,
yet lovely. Inexpensive, yet rugged. Reasonably priced, yet
fabulous! Right?

good bones to high style fabulous!
But first...this article
helps you decide -- a gazebo for sale, or a cheap
gazebo?
The Cheap
Gazebo
There's a $77.00 pop-up 10x10 gazebo for
sale at Wal-Mart's web site. Imagine that -- I shop
Wal-Mart, too.
Wal-Mart says this gazebo "assembles in minutes"
and comes with a canvas "castle" valance, a cupola, and canvas
fabric on the legs.
It also includes a carrying bag with strap made
of coated oxford cloth.
Let's stop and think a minute. We both know
that you get what you pay for -- not all the time, but
sometimes. Agreed?
This might be one of those times.
I'm not calling Wal-Mart's $77.00 gazebo cheap.
All I'm saying is -- I just read the reviews,
and well, they weren't favorable.
If what you're looking for, though, is a gazebo
solution that's inexpensive, yet temporary, then this $77.00
gazebo is probably up to the task.
To see the gazebo and read the reviews for
yourself, go to Wal-Mart's web site and type the phrase "10' x
'10 all-steel pop-up gazebo" into their search bar.
I don't think the gazebo comes with a
warranty. At least, I didn't see any warranty information
any near it.
No worries -- it's Wal-Mart! They have a very
liberal in-store return policy if you have a receipt, so just
keep the receipt where you can find if you need it.

The
Portable Gazebo For
Sale
If you're still undecided, here is some information that
may help.
A portable gazebo is your instant outdoor room
option.
Portable gazebos are so
popular, because they're lightweight.
A gazebo that's uber portable, should be of
a medium size.
A 10x10 gazebo fits in the
medium gazebo category.
A gazebo larger than 10 x 10 is
also portable, but it's heavier, too. You may need help
to move it around.
Medium size gazebos can be assembled, disassembled, and
moved in just a few hours -- making it an easy-to-accomplish,
backyard bonding opportunity for you and your family.
Set up a portable gazebo in a semi-permanent spot today.
And if your needs or interests change tomorrow, just break it
down and move it to the new spot. No worries.
A portable gazebo can be freestanding. Or it can have
ground spikes. In either case, you just stick the ends in the
ground to hold it in place.
If you’d rather set your portable gazebo on concrete or
brick, there are bolts and screws made especially for securing
it to hard surfaces.
Portable gazebos can be useful in helping to make the best
choice for a permanent gazebo.
Without making a big investment, you get a feel for how large or small a permanent
structure should be to work best for your lifestyle.
You can try it here, break it down, then try it there.
You’ll see immediately for yourself the advantages of one
position over another.
If you decide to trade up to a
permanent garden structure, you can make a gift of the
portable to a friend or family member -- giving them a great
start on making their own gazebo memories.
Floors For Your Gazebo For
Sale
|
Most gazebos can be installed directly on the
lawn. No muss, no fuss. No floor needed.
You can also lay down a roll-up laminate floor under the
covered area only.
Or give sisal a try. It makes a great gazebo
floor.
For permanent gazebos, make sure your flooring choice will stand
up to lots of traffic over time.
Brick, wood, stone, and concrete are your best options. And
any of these can also be covered with laminate if
you want versatility.

Some Things To Consider For Any Gazebo For
Sale

As you’re
thinking of the best place to put that gazebo for sale,
think about how you’ll marry your gazebo to your house and
yard.
What will the relationship be between the new
gazebo and what’s currently on your property?
Get the best union between these spaces by
identifying up front the purpose and appeal of a new gazebo.
Think about adding a garden path
between the house or patio and the new gazebo.
It will help you define the new
space.
And a garden path is extremely easy
to install -- another family bonding opportunity, perhaps.
Is there furniture on your patio or deck
right now?
Let’s re-arrange it to create a natural walkway
between the house and the gazebo.
I love re-arranging!
Will you use the gazebo in cooler weather? I
definitely would. Think about using a fire pit or chiminea.
What about mosquitoes -- are they a problem?
There are all kinds of solutions for this. Like
ball-shaped citronella candles held in a decorative chiminea.
Or flash back to your days of incense burning
with sandalwood sticks. They release a sweet smoke that repels
mosquitoes, black files, gnats, and no-see-ems for 3 hours.
Washable mosquito netting
between the posts is fabulous and functional! They're trendy,
not spendy. And your friends will marvel at
your design savvy.
